UPL is supporting farmers who trace their soy and corn production process in the US with:
$1 per acre
This incentive is meant to incentivize a collaborative interaction while allowing the UPL to provide a better assistance to farmers.
Gain access to new markets while getting full traceability of your crops, setting baselines for your farm practices and with free measurement of the carbon footprint of your process.

Participation Process
A contact from ucrop.it will get in touch to review benefits and requirements of the program. They will help you connect your Jhon Deere Operations Center information to the ucrop.it platform and explore the most efficient way to complete the program.
Before sharing any information with UPL you will have the chance to review your crop's information and approve.
Traceability Targets
In order for UPL to be able to communicate sustainable targets they need all the reported data to be backed up with evidence and farmer validation.
Planting Information
Report seed varieties and/or hybrids used, planting date/s and rate/s, tillage type, area and previous crop. Inputs applied at planting and rate. Evidence: JD Op Center download
Herbicide Applications
Report all herbicide applications, showing the date, product used and rate, acres applied and rate for applications of crop protection, additives and surfactants. Evidence: JD Op Center.
Harvest Information
Report yield harvested per field, date and acres harvested. Evidence: JD Op Center.
Carbon Footprint
We combine your reported farm practices with the Cool Farming Tool to provide a solid calculation.
